TREE PLANTING CEREMONY

A tree planting ceremony is another lovely ritual for outdoor weddings, especially those taking place at home. 

Planting a tree together symbolises the joining of you as a couple and the intention for your relationship to continue to grow as the tree does. 

You can involve significant people by asking them to throw in some compost or soil and assist with the planting. 

If you’re not outside you can ‘plant’ your tree in a large pot or planter and then keep it at home or re-pot it in your garden or somewhere special to you. 

Have an allotment?

You could pot some seeds together, your fave veg to grow or something you would enjoy to cook and eat together once it has come to fruit.

Obsessed with house plants?

You could pick a new plant together and pot this as part of your ceremony into a gorgeous planter.

Another option would be to exchange plants instead of rings - pick something you think the other would really enjoy and exchange this explaining why you picked it.
