Wedding celebrant, civil partnership celebrant, hot beverage enthusiast and dog lover.
In short: I create soulful, super personal, inclusive and fun ceremonies for couples who want something a little extra.
When I’m not celebranting you can usually find me hanging off a rock face, hanging out with my dogs & partner, or with my nose buried in a good book.
In a nutshell: if you dance to your own tune and you’re after a super personal, inclusive, fun ceremony which will probably be the best part of your day then I’d love to work with you!
Why did I become a celebrant?
I’m a qualified nurse and have worked in the acute and palliative settings for almost ten years but I have a deep desire to follow a life of adventure. I was sitting in my campervan in the ‘middle of nowhere’ in Southern Spain, racking my brains trying to think of how I could use my fave parts of nursing (communicating, caring, influencing positive change), and like a light bulb moment it came to me!
Life as a celebrant allows me to meet loads of interesting people, share in loads of boss celebrations of love and life. I love nothing more than a good chat, a good party and a healthy side of sentimentality. Becoming a celebrant brings all the best things together.

What else do I love?
I’m a slightly obsessive rock climber (sport, single pitch for those who are interested). Climbing is how I met my partner, how I’ve built a group of amazing strong female friends, it has taken me to some amazing places across the world - we spend most winters living in our van mooching round Europe. But it has also taught me a lot about myself and what I can achieve when I set my mind to it.
I’m also dog obsessed, our home is made by our two Romanian rescue dogs. I love all animals and spent some amazing summers working in animal sanctuaries in Namibia and Thailand (this involved a LOT of shovelling poo!).
I live in Liverpool and adore the city, but I am from Yorkshire and that is where my heart remains. It’s boss having access to both places and to feel equally at home in the city and the country. I’m very portable and happy to travel as far as you like for a ceremony.
